Birthday cake

Brownies and chocolate chip cookies forgive transgressions. I soaked the ingredients in dark chocolate and yet, had positive reviews. Not so New York Times Cooking Shredded Tofu and Mushroom Stir Fry. I thought to make it for my vegetarian daughter and goofed the ingredients into a terrible dry mess. Not so, refrigerator cake, tricky enough without shorting marzipan and adding extra strawberry.

Therefore, when my number one reviewer celebrates his birthday, you can understand why I followed Grapefruit Crumb Cake recipe to the letter. Turned out looking good:


Tasted good too.
