Brownie - Part I

 I have mentioned the excellent blog, http://www.wayofthedodo.org/, well, lately the page is full of brownie recipes and the suggestion to take a month to bake them and I'm all in.  Of the five recipes, the one with the most chocolate is Milk Chocolate Brownies adapted from Gourmet Magazine. I substituted dark chocolate for milk chocolate, cocoa powder for flour when greasing the pan and added dark chocolate sprinkles, an indication of my dedication to dark chocolate. The extra chocolate punch diminished the sweetness, which is fine by me. I used convection baking and managed to bake them a bit past fudgy into cakey and I'm not sure how I feel about that; cakey is pretty nice and so is fudgy. My main taster approved. Perhaps I'll go across the street for more reviews.
